Gmail invites [Lurks]

I've got 18 gmail invites now! If anyone wants one - post your email addy as a comment. I'll delete your comments later so your email wont linger for robots to spider up.

I've got 15 of these as well. It's struck me that this basically equates to 15Gb of free storage on a pretty fast remote server, but I cannot for the life of me work out a cunning way to take advantage of this. Hmm. Anyone have any cunning thoughts?

ReplyDeleteIt'd be nifty for off site backups. You can't send zips through it but it receives them. Heh, you could backup your shit into zip files and mail it to your own gmail accounts? :)

ReplyDeleteGmailFS was pretty much what I had in mind, but as far as I can gather it only supports single accounts. What would rock would be something that clustered multiple Gmail accounts into a virtual drive...

ReplyDeleteSomeone is working on something similar to GmailFS that will allow multiple gmail accounts to be mounted on a single mountpoint. Linux only like the original GmailFS, but much like GmailFS, I'm sure someone will port
