ReplyDeleteArgentina win by a vast margin, celebrating each goal with a rousing cry of 'That's for the Belgrano!'. England lose horribly and come home and the people in the pub next door to me stop getting boozed up at 7am while watching piss-sucking football and waking me up with their cheering. Fingers crossed eh?
ReplyDeleteI'll actually let football off for the World Cup. At all other times it most definately sucks piss. If we can just instill the idea that the World Cup is the only time that it is acceptable to talk about football and not, as Slim so aptly puts it, the more interesting subject of anal boils, then the world will be a better place. I have one prediction concerning the match, if England lose then everyone will be blaming Sven and otherwise seeking scapegoats rather than actually just expressing sorrow in a reasonable display of sportsmanship.
