  1. Heh, top stuff. I've not normally much love for the French but I've moved to abject hatred now. They've a long history of fucking the allies, starting with De Gaul. If they were just pacifists like our local anti-war movement then I could deal with that. But it's not the same brand of uninformed left soundbiting that the Mirror is trotting out, it's just out and out corruption. The whole security council knows it. Death to the French!

  2. Oh, and remember when the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade was the victim of a "targetting error"? Perhaps Chirac would like to chew on this:URL: The French Embassy, tomorrow.

  3. Great article here by historian Paul Johnson in Forbes which I think I may as well quote the start of;

    We have been reminded that France is not to be trusted at any time, on any issue. The British have learned this over 1,000 years of acrimonious history, but it still comes as a shock to see how badly the French can behave, with their unique mixture of shortsighted selfishness, long-term irresponsibility, impudent humbug and sheer malice. Americans are still finding out--the hard way--that loyalty, gratitude, comradeship and respect for treaty obligations are qualities never exhibited by French governments. All they recognize are interests, real or imaginary. French support always has to be bought.
