Spooks Series II [lurks]
Posted by
Dave
At last, Spooks is returning for the much anticipated second series! I can't wait, the first one was superb. Meanwhile, the first series is available on DVD. I quite fancy that, an xvid rip might be nice... Think it's worth vid capping series 2? Incidentally, it airs at 21:00 on BBC1 next Monday.

I just noticed that the series one dvd isn't out for a few more weeks.
ReplyDeleteThis is really good news, the first series got a lot of attention/enthusiasm from the guys, I got right into it and can't wait.
ReplyDeleteIt's also rather surprising that the BBC have broken their long-time habit of funding great programmes like this but yet not following through with subsequent series'. I can understand their think, that they'd rather capture as many viewers as possible with as wide array of genres/styles as possible, but it's damn frustrating for those of us who latch onto something that beats all this American tv crap we buy in bulk for years.
Well the series was 6 episodes which is fairly paltry. It was watched by 10 million viewers so it seems likely they'll do a few series but they'll definately tap it on the head early, it's what the BBC does. I heard that the BBC dumped robot wars!Crumbs, I've just realised that the Jenny Agutta that played Tessa in the last series is the fit bird from 70s flick Logan's Run. Holy cow :)

ReplyDeleteI masturbated over Jenny Agutter in the Railway Children for years... and then again but not for quite as long when she was in Walkabout, which was a fine movie btw - as an accountant aborigines fascinate me....did you know they only have numbers up to 3? It goes 1,2,3,...err alot!

ReplyDeleteMmm she actually undresses completely in the film... Anyhow, on the subject of abbos, most of the languages (and there's a lot) have words which mean single and couple but not realy three, just 'many'. If you wanted to count out 5, you say single five times :)

ReplyDeleteJust what the heck is this Space 1999 stuff?! Nice girl, no wonder you're a perv Slim, railway children indeed, jeez :)
ReplyDelete/me guesses that those Slimpix aren't worksafe! Nice piece in the Radio Times on Spooks too - they're running the whole of series 1 on UK Gold at the weekend. Now where can I find me a real-life Keeley Hawes girlfriend? woof!
ReplyDeleteWorksafe apart from the last one, which is a movie of her swimming nekkid. Phwaaar!
ReplyDeleteOf course Miss Agutta is just yet another wuffa from the 70s, right Dave? :)
